e’ve talked about the benefits of team building before: it increases productivity, develops problem solving skills, improves communication and builds trust, which altogether translates into motivated employees.

But team building alone doesn’t solve all your team’s problems. If your staff is unmotivated it will eventually underperform, lose their passion for their daily work or for the company and, in a worst case scenario, quit. But before it gets to that point, all of it will most likely reflect in the service or product your business provides, whatever industry you work in.

That’s why today we want to steer away from team building activities for a bit, to focus on the bigger picture it’s part of: company culture. To help you out, we decided to put together information about four of the biggest conferences on human resources and work culture you can attend before the year is done to up your hiring, talent retention and culture game, so that your employees will stick along for the ride.

6th International HR Conference Barcelona

4 October 2019

5th International HR Conference Barcelona

As if Barcelona needs any excuse to be (re)visited, it is also home to its namesake 6th International HR Conference. Taking place October 4th at Auditorio Torre Telefonica, on the ocean end of the Avinguda Diagonal and just a few steps away from the beach, it presents the perfect opportunity to listen to top speakers on people, technology, humanity and the future of work, and network with participants from all over the world.

UNLEASH World

22 - 23 October 2019

Unleash World Convention

If you’re looking for the place where the top HR leaders gather to discuss the future of work and workforce technology, you’ve found it. Some of this year’s speakers at UNLEASH World include Spotify’s CHRO, Katarina Berg, Reddit’s VP People, Katelin Holloway, Unilever’s Global Head of Reward, Peter Newhouse, just to name a few. Even Bob Geldof will be there! Take note: UNLEASH World, from October 22nd to 23rd, Expo Porte de Versailles, Paris.

HR Vision

20 - 21 November 2019

HR Vision London

Just across the Chunnel from Paris, in London, HR Vision takes places between the 20th and 21st of November. The event aims to explore the biggest challenges affecting HR and business, with talks focused on technology and how it is shaping people management practices and on how the future of work is people-centered.

Rethink! HR Tech

28 - 29 November 2019

Rethink! HR & Technology Minds

Last but definitely not least is Rethink! HR Tech in Berlin. The German capital is a favourite among Teamy employees, so we think it offers the perfect backdrop to round up the year and connect to industry leaders from global companies such as Bayer, Nokia or Visa. The conference brings together CHROs and HR executives to discuss key industry topics, share knowledge, create new partnerships and identify business opportunities.

If you have the chance, don’t miss out on one or more of these conferences. Be it through better HR policies, an improved work culture or team building events, your employees should be your main focus as they are your best assets for a successful business.
